It took me a few days to get back to it but it wasn’t adding up in my mind to accept this persons response as RATIONAL. But I didn’t know why, until it clicked.

This morning, on my way back home; something came up in one of my clients criminal case that made me think about your response and why I felt like, although I disagreed with your prospective? I didn’t quite understood why I disagreed.

Im using this scenario as an example. In the State of California, if you are found guilty of driving under the influence. (first time offender). Part of your probationary conditions is that you read and sign an agreement that if (as a result of your drinking and driving) you get involved an accident (while drunk) causing great bodily injury, to either pedestrians or even passengers, and someone dies? You will be charged with involuntary manslaughter. Because you were now aware of the consequences of drunk driving and you signed an agreement stating that you KNEW. With the same weight of the law, ethics and morality? We as adults are aware the risks taken when we drink around anyone and still chose to make the irrational decision of like say; putting oneself in a situation where theres potential risks may jeopardize my reasoning and my morality? Then by all means I am still responsible for my actions, even if I’m drunk. Therefore; if I know that I’m drunk? Why fuck around and try and find out what can come out of it? So; respectfully? I disagree with you 100%. I appreciate the input and I can also agree to disagree.
